Chicco Allotta is an accomplished Italian keyboardist, composer, and arranger with a rich and diverse musical background. Classically trained in piano from an early age, he has built a versatile career spanning multiple continents, including performances in luxury hotel circuits and on cruise ships worldwide. In 2003, he performed at one of Italy’s most prestigious national events, the Concerto del Primo Maggio in Rome, playing in front of 500,000 people as a member of his original band, Charamira. As keyboardist, vocalist, and principal composer, he played a central role in the production of the album “Adrenalina”, released by RWM and Edel Italia. After an extensive career in the Italian music industry, Chicco moved to London in 2014. Thanks to his technical expertise and stylistic versatility, he quickly gained recognition within the UK music scene, collaborating with numerous renowned artists and performing in high-profile clubs and festivals. His London-based collaborations include artists such as Davide “Shorty” Sciortino, 24 Pesos Band, Chantae Cann, Giulio Malaisi, Imaani Saleem, and Tony Momrelle. In 2022, Bluey (Jean-Paul Maunick) invited Chicco to join Incognito for an ongoing world tour. Between 2022 and 2023, the band recorded their studio album “Into You” in London, featuring Chicco’s track “1993”, which became one of the most iconic and celebrated pieces both on record and live. Since then, Chicco has performed regularly at major international jazz festivals and prestigious venues across Europe, the United States, Japan, Indonesia, and South Africa.
